The Sierra Leone Ministry of Defence (MoD)

The Sierra Leone Ministry of Defence (MoD) is responsible for providing the military forces needed to deter war and protect the security of the Republic of Sierra Leone. The Organisational structure of the MOD is shown below. The President is the Commander-in-Chief of the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces, while the Minister of Defense and Director General of Defence exercises authority, direction, and control over the Ministry of Defence.
